The Framing Effect in UX design, Measuring UX, AB testing & more
Sketching for UX Newsletter Issue #24 - my favorite design resources I discovered last month (September, 2024)
Hey dear subscriber 👋,
Let me tell you a personal update: you might have noticed that I haven’t been around that much on social media recently. In some days, I’m going to give birth to my second child, I couldn’t be more excited! So this newsletter issue is going to be the last one for a while (hopefully I’ll be able to return to content creation and curation in some months 😊).
✏️ 3 news / events you should know about
- released his new course, How to Measure UX and Design Impact - A Practical Guide To UX Metrics & Design KPIs. (I added it to My favorite UX & UI design courses article, too). Vitaly was kind enough to offer a coupon code for the sketching for UX newsletter subscribers: use the code IMPACT to get 20% off!
The George UX Conference 2024 is going to happen in some days (5th of November), it’s one of my favorite design events, you can read about my last year’s experience (and check out my sketchnotes) here. While the in-person tickets are sold out, you can get a free remote ticket and follow the conf online!
- is going to release his Making UX Decisions course very soon. His book, Making Design Decisions is one of my favorite design books. (I wrote about it in this article). Btw, Tommy has also published a free mini course called Information Alchemy that you can grab here.
+1 WebExpo 2025 Call for Papers: Do you want to talk at WebExpo next year? The submission deadline for applications is the 31st of October, here are the details.
✏️ The Framing Effect in UX Design
My new UX Knowledge Piece Sketch is about the framing effect: the way you formulate a problem affects your users’ decisions and behavior.
Check out my sketch & detailed article here soon (I included many real life examples, too).
